Here we go again...

We can say that we had a long break from our blog this summer...you might think that we havent had anything exiting to tell you about, but that is NOT why you havent heard from us, we have just been lazy writing here, and I told OJ to write the next one, and he hasnt yet...soo here I go again:) You will get another Johanne view of our latest months..wow, I dont even know where to start!!!
OJ and I didnt have the biggest summer break this year, but we went to spain with my family for a week in august, it was great fun, being in the sun, sleeping on the balcony, getting stuck in the elevator, driving around in our rented black peugeot convertible.....my favorite..:)

We got to charge the batteries for the next year of school and work...and it was cool to be with my family in a two bedroom apartment along with 7 other people:)
We also got to celebrate some fantastic weddings this fall, Petter and Johanna, Heidi and David. Amazing couples that we love, look at them..they are lovley!!!



We also got to celebrate Bjørn Egil and Ragnhilds wedding celebration, that got married last year on a mountaintop..just beautiful!!And they had the ceremony in the church this year:)

Two weeks ago we got home from a fantastic trip to London, OJ and I, together with Mari and Carl Helge, our great friends who lives in Haugesund at the moment, went there for the Hillsong Europe Conference...We had such a good time!!!We were blessed with great teaching, awsome worship, and the chance to get together with some of all the others who are building Gods church in Europe! It was sooo inspiering for all of us!!! We had alot of fun, as we explored the city of London...;)
But it was truely a blessing for us to be a part of the conference here in Europe, and for OJ and me, it was great to see the Hillsong culture, and the influence here in Europe, as we ave seen in Australia!
It was amazing to experience a sunday afternoon in the middle of London, on Oxford Circus, how thousands of people lined up on the sidewalk, not only in front of the church, but around the blocks, houndreds of metres from the church...
God is doing some good stuff in Europe, and we really want to be a part of what he is doing, where he has placed us here in Norway, and with what he has given us in our hands. We are exited about the future!!!!!

well, another day at work is over, and another month has past by, with out me writing a few words on the blog......i know iam bad at it, but i am here now, so please forgive me:)

The last few weeks has been some exiting, busy, facinating, late night weeks....summer is comming up (i think, it doesnt look like it at the moment...) and all the summer parties have already started. OJ finished school two weeks ago, and he is so happy to be able to do something else that can get his body moving for a couple of months. He works for his dad, building something...i think..heheh...tonight he is going to help a friend whose car broke down, he enjoys it!! I get to see him sometimes..;)when he comes by to change clothes, to leave again......no, im just kidding, its not that bad...:)he is a great husband, and he is for sure taking good care of me!!!!!I am starting to get used to being incharge of the dinner making, and the washing, i guess i have to live with that as a housewife. I get better at it every day!!;)hehe..

Church life is an exiting part of our life! We love being a part of it, and our dreams are just growing bigger and bigger!!Just cant help it! We love our church family, we are so blessed to have them around! Last sunday we went with the church to this place by the water, to just hang out and eat...it was fun!Its so important to be able to be together without the big agendas sometimes. you get to know people in a different way then.
Last friday was our youthgroup´s anual summer party. WOW.....we had a great time!!!We opened the night outside with a barbeque, and some cool activities, than we had an indoor summer kick off meeting before we continued outside.Alot of people came, and it was such a great night!!
We also had the last womens meetin before the summer 2 weeks ago....my mum, my sister and i spoke to all the ladies. the theme was blessing...and i felt so blessed after that night. We blessed some russian kids with money for a summer camp, and we got in more money that we ever thought we would, many kids will have the chance to get to know about Jesus this summer, because of the girls in Ålesund. Amen!!!
OK, this is getting to big....i am gonna finish:)...but i just have to tell you that my best friend Kjersti just got a cute little boy:)His name is Robin. She has two kids now....!cant wait till its my turn..hheheh...its not yet, if you were wondering..;)
I could have kept on going for a while, but i will stop:)
Im going away for two weeks to the north of norway for work in a couple of weeks, while OJ is at home, and in August OJ is going to his best friends wedding in Hungary, while I am going to Spain for vacation, and I will meet him there....apart from that we will be at home, so if you want, you are more than welcoem to come to visit us!!!We would love you to!

Summer is nice!!!!!

OJ and me are loving this time of year!!!Its daylight till 10 in the evening, the temperature gives us a chance to relax outside, many barbeques on islands and beaches.....Dagfinn´s (OJ´s dad) new boat, and alot more!!!!Its just a good time to hang out with friends at night, and to cruise around in the boat enjoying newly explored places we´ve never been to....the first water ski trip for the season has also taken place....i believe it was cold!!heheh

OJ still have to study.......his exams are comming up pretty quick....just pray for him;)I am doing great, have been sick for a few days, just because of stupidity..I thought I could wear summer clothes already....but no.
I am going to Oslo next weekend for a womens conference, it is gonna be great and I am really looking forward to it. I am a part of a great womens ministry in town, and it is a blessing to be a part of!I get so encouaged!!!

I am exited to give you a new update on our life....;)we are doin good, and our days are filled with fun, people, sun(its a miracle, the weather has been GREAT the last week, we are lovin it!!) and some house and homework....I am working 5 days a week with this beautiful little boy, he is a dream to work with!!!we have fun together, and he is a real champion!!!

last weekend, OJ and me got to go to watch a soccer game at the new stadium in town....we had a great time, exited about winning 2-0, and that the stadium is big and perfect to have huge church parties there....we are praying that god is gonna keep on doing his work around us, that is our heartbeat for this place!!!!

We have had a man from South Africa visiting the churches in town for a couple of weeks, he has been a huge blessing for all of us!! He did great teaching, and it lifted the athmosphere in our churches...
As you can see, he taught us some african songs...we all had to dance around(not a common thing in norwegian churces), it was such a great sight, all the old ladies, and the straight 50 year olds- doing the moves and dancing....;) OJ and the boys went on stage to encourage the others to go crazy....;)

We are both blessed by working for the kingdom, working with people!this weekend, I had a sleepover for all the girls in our youthgroup...our livingroom was full of matrasses....we ate till 5 o´clock in the morning....oh...it was fun!!
we are enjoying this!!!thanks for being our friends!!we love you all!!

Friends, Life and fun;)

I just wanted to share with you some of the blessed times we have had the last few week....easter, as i said earlier; a time to spend with friends and family!!!

Our amazing friends Mari and Carl came home for a few days, they are the funniest and most loving couple, and we loove to do silly stuff together;) they live in haugesund at the moment, but we are hoping that they can move closer so that we can meet them more often!
we even got to celebrate a wedding during easter. we enjoyed the wonderful day of Randi Kristin and Martin Julius wedding. It was a beautiful day, and they looked happy and great!!! They celebrated it in Langevåg at a factory..it was really beautiful!

Velkommen til bloggen vår, e (Johanne) har hatt min egen lenge, med veldig lite aktivitet, så no fant vi ut at det va på tide at vi fikk opp en oppdatert en....skal prøve å være flink å oppdatere dere nå:)
Life is great!OJ and me are having a good time. Cant believe it but we have been married for over 7 months now....its crazy!!in one way it feels like yesterday, but I feel like we have been together for ever...he is the best, and we have so much fun together! we laugh of, with and about eachother;)It gooood! Easter was a relaxing week, or at least a weekend...not too many skiing trips, but we had a great time with friends and family!!It is soo good with holidays...because friends come home from all over the country, and we get to encourage eachother to keep on pushing forward in whatever we are facing!! One of our good friends Petter, had his girlfriend visiting for the first time, she is awesome, we love her already, and the best is the fact that he proposed on tuesday, and even better, she said YES!!...how amazing:)
We are blessed to have you in our lives Petter and Johanna!!

OJ and I are blessed in many ways! A few months ago we had the opportunity to buy a property here in Aalesund, a beautiful place with the best view!!!we are really exited, and hoping to be able to build a duplex together with a couple that we know. We believe that it can be a huge blessing to us, and all our friends and family!!!We love company, and it gives us the opportunity to invite more people to our house, and be a blessing in that way!!I will update you on that;) we love you all and wish you a good time, be blessed, and stay close to the one and only, he is the real lover of life!!
